Internet subscription and allows subscribers to screen and block objectionable materials from being accessed on the Internet.  Besides blocking unwanted sites, Adams NetGuardian includes password protection and automatic updates and requires no software to be installed on the user’s computer.  To use Adams netGuardian, please contact the Adams customer service department at 877-696-4611 to initiate the feature on your Internet account.  Your will be given an authentication user name and password.

 

Adams NetGuardian denies access to pornographic sites and offensive web sites such as dealing with bomb making, hate groups and drugs without limited access to legitimate sites.  The service also filters FTP sites and UseNet newsgroups.  The filtering service denies searches using foul works within Internet search engines. 

 

Adams NetGuardian also prides for customization.  An adult can enter a username and password to disable blocking at a single computer for that current connection time.  Blocking is automatically reactivated after disconnection.  Each Adams NetGuardian subscriber can establish four distinct profiles for use any members of their household, business, etc.  The types of web sites as well as type types of Internet services can be established for each user.  There is a monthly fee of $2.50 per computer for Adams Netguardian.  Adams NetGuardian maintains a list of categories that are filter by default.
