i-SAFE has developed an excellent and upbeat presentation for school or public libraries to use.  Students watch a video that can be loaded on each computer.  After they watch the video the library staff gives them a short, easy quiz to complete that is included on the CD.  Included on the CD are little cards that can be given to the students to show that they have completed the Library Safe Program.

You must first have an account- from the upper left corner of the screen

Even though you are a Library Director, register as an Educator 

Select Library/media specialist 

 Next through the supplemental screen

Select School District in your area zip code then you may be asked to enter information about the school district in your area such as name and zip code.

After you receive the login and password

You must file an Implementation Plan to receive the no charge CD

Choose Library Safe Card Program

Select any grades, select Illinois and put in school district zip code

 Select a school name

An information screen will appear where you can edit contact information and ship to address

Fill in the bottom dates and times with some type of information as best you can.  Hit the agree button
