8/27/2006 – Quincy Herald Whig article by Holly Wagner “Parental Eyes Offer Best Internet Filter” Mike McLaughlin, Adams County Board Chairman, who was featured in the article, said he was approached by over 20 people at church on Sunday and commented on the article and complemented him on his stand i.e. “I’m just a parent of a 12-year-old. I’m concerned.”
Curriculum Guide developed by i-Safe was purchased by the Adams/Pike ROE and given to all school districts in Adams/Pike counties
TV public announcement clips on “Tips on Safe Use of the Internet”
5/22/2006- Focus Team meeting for parents, students and educators
5/24/2006-Full page advertisement in SHOP “It’s Midnight Somewhere on the Internet…Do you Know Who You are Talking to?” which is distributed to all mail box holders in Adams and Pike counties.
6/7/2006 in Quincy and 6/8/2006 in Macomb - i-SAFE training –CD’s of the training recorder by Reed Productions available from the Adams/Pike Regional Office of Education

9/15/2006 – Internet Safety Booth at Adams Telephone Co-Operative annual meeting at the Adams County Fairgrounds
9/19/2006 Presentation was discussed with School Superintendents, Technology Coordinators, and Library Directors at a meeting sponsored by Adams Telephone Co-Operative. Meeting dates were set for coming weeks at area school districts
9/26/2006 Eric Thomas presentation at Quincy Chamber of Commerce Brown Bag Lunch
9/28/2006 – Copy of Presentation delivered to Area IV Tech Center for use by schools in the Edwardsville area

October, 2006 The committee wishes to thank the Quincy PTA Council for including an article in their newsletter explaining the partnership that was formed to help parents and students be aware of ways to use the Internet safely. Parent involvement was stressed as being the key to students using the Internet.
November, 2006 Bookmarks promoting Awareness is the Answer website were distributed to area libraries
November, 2006 The community website http://iliamo.com/ is linked to the Awareness Is the Answer website to inform the community as copied from the iliamo website
